What you need to do:
The COVID 19 vaccine is very different to other types of vaccines and requires very strict planning, structure and layout. Therefore we will need your full co-operation in terms of following our guidelines in order for this process to run smoothly and keep everyone safe.
- Location: AYLESBURY CLINIC, Aylesbury Shopping Centre, Tallaght, Dublin 24.
- Timing: We will contact you about a week before to schedule an appointment time & date and the vaccine can only be administered at your scheduled time & date.
- What to wear: Please wear a face-mask in order to keep everyone safe and wear a short sleeve top to streamline the process.
The Process:
- Upon arrival, a member of staff will check you in, outside the clinic.
- Then you will enter the clinic and our doctor will ask you some questions and then give you the injection.
- Once you have received the injection, we will monitor you for 15 minutes in the clinic.
- Then before you leave the clinic, you will receive a data & time for your 2nd injection as well as an information leaflet.
What not to do:
- Only eligible patients with an appointment will receive the injection so do not bring anyone else along in the hope that they will get vaccinated as well – they won’t.
- Friends & family, who attend with you for support, will not be allowed enter the building. For safety reasons they will have to wait outside.
- Note that our doctors will not be able to discuss other clinical issues during the vaccine clinic.
- Please arrive on time as per your scheduled appointment as the clinic will be fully booked and working to a very tight schedule so we will not be able to accommodate exceptions.
- Please contact the clinic straight away if you will not be able to attend the appointment at your slotted date & time.
